MySalute to the Military

WELCOME!

Everyone who knows someone who has served in the military, knows that they have many amazing stories to tell!  I help them share their stories by wearing them (sometimes on their literal sleeves)!

How I Have Saluted the Military

My Mission

I wanted to find a way for military members and family members to show their pride in what they have accomplished against many odds, trials and tribulations.

The best way, at the time, was by making a scrapbook for the outgoing CO's wives. It described the journey they had at that duty station and how they impacted the squadron.

One day, I thought it would be nice if other people could see the scrapbook of their adventures.  In doing so, it would help other people understand the military life better.

I took all of the patches I collected throughout the years, Okinawa from where I was born while my dad was stationed there, the Willow Grove Naval Station where I grew up, San Diego where I met my husband who was an aviator at North Island, then from our follow-up tours in Hawaii, Coronado, D.C., Mayport & Stuttgart Germany.

My Mission now has morphed into making wearable scrapbooks of the military and or family members journey of which they can wear with respect and honor for their service and sacrifice!

Each one tells the story of the owner and is modeled after Flightsuits!
